Description
W461 (G-class) is the utilitarian, professional-grade branch of the G-Class family, produced between 1992 and 2022. While the famous W463 focused on luxury and civilian comfort, the W461 was engineered specifically for military, government, and heavy-duty industrial use. In this military role the vehicle was sometimes referred to as the "Wolf". The W461 became the official successor to the original W460, maintaining its rugged body and simplified interior while adopting modern powertrains from the W463.
