It was also the mechanical basis for the early Audi Quattro AWD system. MILAN stands for Missile d’Infanterie Léger Antichar (Light Infantry Anti-Tank Missile) - Euromissile consortium. Wire-guided, SACLOS (semi-automatic command to line of sight)with effective Range: 400 m – 2,000 m.
