eFH18/18M. During WW2 the 10,5cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18 and it’s modernized version 18M were the mainstay of the German field artillery. Design begun 1928 at Rheinmetal. The howitzer was ready to 1930 and got name “105mm light howitzer, mod. 1918” in an effort to disguise it as a product of last year of WW1 and cover up the secret development of the weapons banned by Versailles Treaty. Mass production begun in 1935 and more than 4000 were built before
